Who can become a patroller?
Most important:
- Minimum age 18
- Adhere to Police protocols and confidentiality and work under Health and Safety guidelines
- Be fluent in both written and spoken English. A Patroller should be physically fit and healthy
- Be alert, with keen observation skills. (training will be given)
- Have the ability to write a detailed report
- Have the ability to show close attention to detail
- Have a diplomatic manner
- Have the ability to focus and remain calm in stressful situations
- Have the ability to drive in a safe manner
- Be available for as little as one 3-hour shift per month or more if you wish
- Be able to pass Police Vetting
Previous experience is not required as on-the-job training is given.
