2. Further Information Required
Please now complete the attached “Application to Join”, “Vetting Service and Consent” and “Confidentiality Declaration” forms.
You also need to read the attached Code of Conduct and sign it where indicated and also familiarise yourself with the following Drug and Alcohol Policy.
3. Following Completion of Documents
Once all of the above have been completed and read, you will need to contact us to say you are ready to move to the next stage.
We will then arrange a time to meet with you for a short interview – please allow one hour for this interview.
4. Interview Preparation
When you attend the interview you will need to bring your signed Application Form, Vetting Service & Consent Form, Confidentiality Declaration and Code of Conduct Form, ID Form, Current Passport Photo, along with proof of identity (refer to the attached information on what is acceptable).
Your application will then be forwarded to CPNZ who liaise with the Police for approval.
Following Police approval, you are required to complete the CPNZ mandatory online training modules, with a passing grade of 100%.
5. Training
Once you have passed all your online training modules you will then take part as an observer in 2 patrols (called “ridealongs”) and attend a Safety Briefing while driving the Patrol car.
Once the above is done you will be able to participate in Patrols with other patrollers!
